There’s a Mexican neighborhood in the state of Chiapas where police and interference by outsiders are strictly forbidden.
They handle all disputes (and even things like fixing their roads) on their own without the city’s help. I know some people who live in this unique little neighborhood in San Cristobal, Chiapas and they love it BUT it’s honestly not meant for everyone.
In this video, I’m taking you on a full tour of Cuxtitali, talking to you about the customs of the locals, and trying to give you an idea of what it would be like to live in this very special neighborhood of San Cris. To live here successfully… you’re going to have to live like a local in Mexico and not rock the boat.
