There’s a Mexican neighborhood in the state of Chiapas where police and interference by outsiders are strictly forbidden. They handle all disputes (and even things like fixing their roads) on their own without the city’s help. I know some people who live in this unique little neighborhood in San Cristobal, Chiapas and they love it…
